The unincorporated community of Conway, in southern Skagit County on State Route 534 (just a mile west of Interstate 5 and six miles south of Mount Vernon), offers some fantastic Pacific Northwest real estate.

The community is drawn together by the Conway School District, which educates approximately 400 students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Families can select from several nearby high schools, but only Mount Vernon High School provides bus transportation in Conway.

Approximately 4,000 people live in the Conway, WA school district. The economic base is primarily agricultural with various fresh produce and seed crops grown in the fertile soil of the Skagit Valley. It's an easy commute on I-5 not only to Mount Vernon and Burlington, but also to Everett (30 minutes south) and Bellingham (40 minutes north). Nearby colleges include Skagit Valley College in Mount Vernon and Western Washington University in Bellingham.
