Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games Schedule

Event Competitions

The Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games will be held over the course of 17 days, from February 12 to February 28, 2010.  The Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Games will take place from March 12 to March 21, 2010.

Opening & Closing Ceremonies

The Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games Opening Ceremonies will take place on February 12, 2010, at Vancouver's 60,000-seat B.C. Place. According to the Vancouver 2010 website, this will be the first time the Olympic Opening and Closing ceremonies will be held indoors. The Closing Ceremony will be held at this same location on February 28, 2010.

The Opening Ceremony for the Paralympic Games will take place on March 12, 2010, with the Closing Ceremony held on March 21, 2010.

Medal Presentations

Medal Presentations/Victory Ceremonies will take place each evening from February 14 to February 26 at B.C. Place, and from February 14 to February 27 at the Whistler Medals Plaza. Live concerts will follow each evening's Victory Ceremony.

Paralympic Medal Presentations/Victory Ceremonies will take place from March 13 to March 20, 2010, with evening concerts to follow.
