Skiing & Snowboarding
Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains is THE place to stop if you want to enjoy some real winter skiing. According to WhistlerBlackcomb.com, skiers and riders this year will have over 7,500 acres to explore throughout the season, with more groomed terrain than any other ski resort in North America. Already a world-famous ski destination, this year's season will be better than ever.
Whistler Mountain will be accessible via the Whistler Village Gondola and the Fitzsimmons Express all season long, while Blackcomb will be accessible via the Excalibur Gondola and the Wizard Express.
The Creekside base is where most 2010 Olympic Alpine Events took place.. The Creekside Gondola will be closed February 1 to early March. To help during that closure, B.C. shuttle service will be increased during this time to make sure Whistler guests can access the mountains quickly and conveniently.
